Saltbush Flats Eastbound Rest Area Claimed

The Saltbush Flats Eastbound Rest Area Nullarbor Plain is a small roadside stop immediately next to the Eyre Highway near Mundrabilla Western Australia where you can pull off for a rest or an overnight stop if travelling in a fully self-contained recreational vehicle. There are no facilities at the Saltbush Flats Eastbound Rest Area, other than a few picnic tables, some shade and rubbish bins. Pets are OK if kept on a lead and under control at all times. There is good mobile phone coverage. There are a few gravel tracks that lead back further away from the road. There is no tangible shade at this rest area. Mundrabilla is in a very sparsely populated area in the far south east of Western Australia and that has 2 significant features for persons travelling across the Nullarbor Plain, being the Mundrabilla Roadhouse and Mundrabilla Station, which are approximately 35 kilometres apart.
